If anyone knows how much of an impact expression can have on one's life, it's Daisy WindSong. Homeless by the age of 18, Daisy turned to music as her source of comfort and solace. 5 years later, she decided to give back by asking her community to support her vision in providing the same comfort for those currently struggling with homelessness. The success of a fundraising campaign afforded Daisy the donation of 7 guitars to the children living at Family Gateway, a shelter for transitioning homeless families.
But now we need your help! WE ARE CALLING ALL MUSICIANS to help facilitate a guitar workshop with children ages 8-17! We will be meeting one-on-one with the children, aiding them in the expression of their hearts through music in whatever capacity they desire. So come, bring your instruments and be a light in a child's life by joining us this Wednesday, March 9th at 7pm at 711 S St. Paul St. in Dallas.
